Maena is sorely missed, but the new therapist is great as well. Very gentle and meticulous. So happy I can rely on Le Crisadore for great service and staff.
I can't praise Le Crisadore enough, Kay & the staff are very friendly & professional, they always make you feel relaxed, the salon is alway clean & tidy!
I booked myself in for a luxury facial, arriving about 10 minutes early for my appointment. After the lady on reception was done talking on the phone she booked me in and led me to a seating area where I waited for 15 minutes. I was finally taken to the treatment room which was pretty much a glorified cupboard with a bed in it. The lady from reception then told me to take my jumper off so it would not get any creams etc. on it, and to lay down on the bed. I didn't particularity want to lie down without having met the beauty therapist first who was going to be doing my facial. It wasn't until the woman from reception came back to the treatment room that I realised she was my beauty therapist. No introduction, no nothing. As the beauty therapist was applying the cleanser to my face I was then asked if I was allergic to anything - considering she had already started to apply products to my face it was a bit late to be asking me if I had any allergies! After the cleansing came the steaming and the extractions, or so I thought. Turns out extractions means just the nose area and nowhere else. No T-zone, no chin, just the nose. On the website it states that you get two personalised face masks but there is nothing personalised about it. You were also supposed to receive a mini massages whilst each of the masks set - I received only one mini massage whilst my masks were setting. I finally had a cream applied to and received a facial massage that I wouldn't call luxury. It was the type of facial massage I give myself at home. The beauty therapist then told me I was done and told me to take my time getting up, and she would meet me outside. When I returned to reception there was another woman sitting at the desk - I informed her that I has just had my facial and that I had paid through Treatwell, and she told me I was good to go. It wasn't until I left that I checked my phone and saw that my treatment had only been 40 minutes! Overall I did not find this a luxury experience in the slightest. The products smelt and felt cheap and the service was mediocre at best. I guess when you pay £30 for a 'luxury' facial you clearly get what you pay for.
The head massage was terrible. Despite asking 3 times for more pressure, barely an attempt was made on that front. Waste of my time.
The threading was decent but very much ruined by experience above.
