I asked for hot wax (rather than strip wax) as it is more gentle on your skin, however after about 5 sore attempts, the beautician had to resort to using a combination of strip wax and tweezers. I wasn't asked whether this was ok, and even after doing this the area wasnt completely hairless. I had to show areas the beautician had missed, to which I was told there wasn't anything that could be done...? The wasn't the beauticians fault really, more the quality of wax used.
