Hi, I’m Jasmin – founder of Laser & Spa in Stockport, Greater Manchester, and someone who genuinely believes that confidence starts from within. Whether it’s through a glowing complexion, smoother skin, or simply feeling cared for, my goal is to help you feel like the best version of yourself. Originally from the Philippines, I spent the first 12 years of my life surrounded by vibrant culture, a close-knit community, and strong family values. When my parents made the decision to move us to the south of the UK, it was a huge shift—but one that I embraced wholeheartedly. Learning the language, adapting to a new way of life, and eventually falling in love with the opportunities here, I’ve never looked back. At 18, I moved to Stockport, where I trained and qualified as a Level 3 Dental Nurse. I quickly progressed to a Compliance Manager role across multiple practices, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. While I loved helping people, I found myself longing for something more hands-on and heart-centered—something that let me connect directly with clients. That’s when I discovered beauty therapy. I began with a Level 3 VTCT qualification in Beauty Massage Therapy, where I found true joy in helping people relax and feel uplifted. I followed that with training in traditional lash lift & tint and further training in the Korean Lash Lift technique, and later earned certifications in facials, discovering just how transformative a tailored skin treatment can be. My interest in long-term, results-driven treatments led me to specialise in laser hair removal. I completed an intensive 20-week Level 4 VTCT Laser & Light course in Glasgow, training under Mike Murphy, a renowned Laser Protection Adviser and Chairman of the Association of Laser Safety Professionals. This experience gave me advanced skills in safe, effective laser treatments for long-lasting smoothness and skin confidence. Laser & Spa UK was born from this journey—grounded in high standards, genuine care, and a passion for empowering others. My clinic now offers a full range of aesthetic and beauty treatments, including laser hair removal, luxury facials, massage therapy, and lash services. Laser & Spa UK was founded by Jasmin Jones in 2025. Jasmin believes that true confidence comes from within — and that means feeling great in your own skin, body, and mind.
Her passion for helping others feel their best inspired her to complete a VTCT Level 3 Qualification in Beauty Massage Therapy, laying the foundation for her career in the beauty and wellness industry.
To provide the most effective and results-driven treatments, Jasmin continued her training with a VTCT Level 4 qualification in Laser & Light. This advanced 20-week course gave her hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and light-based therapies — allowing her to deliver safe, results-focused aesthetic treatments in Stockport.

OUR TECHNOLOGY
We use a UK-manufactured, medical-grade Polaris solid-state 1064nm ND YAG laser, developed by Polaris Lasers Medical Limited. Unlike many systems that combine multiple wavelengths into one platform, this laser has been purpose-built to safely and effectively treat every skin tone, including melanin-rich skin.
Many devices advertise themselves as suitable for "all skin tones", but most multi-wavelength systems are fundamentally diode-based, even when they include an ND YAG mode. These systems do not deliver the same depth of penetration or safety profile as a true single-wavelength solid-state ND YAG laser. This can increase the risk of burns, pigmentation changes and scarring, particularly in darker skin tones.
The Polaris uses a true 1064nm wavelength, the longest wavelength currently used for laser hair removal. This allows the laser energy to bypass more of the melanin within the surface of the skin and travel deeper towards the hair follicle. As a result, it provides excellent results on lighter skin while also offering the highest level of safety for darker skin tones.
WHY PENETRATION DEPTH IS IMPORTANT
Hair follicles sit at different depths depending on the area being treated.
For example, follicles on the upper lip are typically around 1mm deep, while underarm follicles average around 5mm and those in the bikini area can sit even deeper.
The deeper the laser energy can safely penetrate, the greater its ability to reach the hair bulb and effectively disrupt the follicle. This precise targeting supports consistent, long-term hair reduction while keeping the surrounding skin protected.

This training goes well beyond standard manufacturer certification and included travelling to Glasgow for hands-on education with leading experts in the field.
I chose this level of training because I believe my clients deserve more than simply operating a machine. They deserve treatment backed by a thorough understanding of laser science, skin safety and best clinical practice.

Bus stops on Blackstone Road and Lisburne Lane (Dialstone Centre) are a short walk away, with routes to Stockport Interchange and nearby areas.
Several services stop there, including 314, 807, 844 and 876, connecting Offerton with Stockport and surrounding neighbourhoods.
The nearest train stations are Woodsmoor and Hazel Grove, around 5–7 minutes by car. Woodsmoor is also approximately 20 minutes on foot.
