Lovely salon with a fantastic vibe and the staff all seemed lovely. Unfortunately, my treatment experience was extremely disappointing. During the treatment my hair needed to be brushed. I have long, fine hair which can get quite tangled. The hair stylist, instead of bushing my hair by working her way from the ends to the top, kept trying to brush from the roots down, causing bunched tangles halfway down and onwards. She then dealt with this tangled mess by RIPPING it apart. I was really shocked that any hairdresser would do this. It got to the point where I was going to offer to brush my own hair, but I felt so awkward and didn’t want to seem rude. The treatment itself left my hair soft, but because of the way the stylist treated my hair, it is now far more frizzy than when I went in. The blow dry was a bit disappointing. I asked for volume and waves, in the end she used a straightener to create some manicured waves on my naturally wavey hair, but there was no volume at all. Like I said though, the salon was lovely, I would advise still going but selecting a more experienced or knowledgeable stylist.
