Kia ora! I'm a Kiwi Deep Tissue / Swedish Massage therapist, specialising in relief of chronic pain, habitual tension and general stress. I am experienced at treating people across all ages and professions, as well as working with people with chronic disabilities. I have always loved massage therapy, having received it a lot through my life as a stage performer – when I'm not in the treatment room, I'm a professional opera singer, so I understand the demands of a stressful schedule and high pressure life. I really appreciate being able to help others heal from this, and regain physical freedom. I also have many people close to me who suffer from chronic physical health problems, and was inspired to help them. When the chance came to train in massage, I took it with both hands (so to speak). And so, I've continued ever since! I trained at the London School of Massage, in Swedish, Deep Tissue and On-Site Chair massage, and am ITEC accredited. I use a combination of Deep Tissue and Swedish techniques, alongside some elements of pressure point work and dynamic stretching, to relieve tension and enhance muscular health and flexibility. Ultimately, I will work around what your body needs, and what feels most comfortable or helpful for you.
