I have curly hair, and I find it hard to find hairdressers who can do much with it at all. So I was delighted with the results of this hair cut - looks great, fuss free, and I've had a number of compliments since! Also, great space and atmosphere. Thanks Kirsty.
Kirsty's great and her studio and a little bit of calm in busy Hackney. The studio is baby/toddler friendly which makes it possible for me visit (and relax) and take my son along too. There are a few nice toys, which always keep my son entertained. Tate has also enjoyed his first few haircuts with Kirsty. As a mum herself she makes it really easy and relaxed for us both. I've always been really happy with my hair and look forward to my visits :)
Kirsty has been my hairdresser for many years now, and I always go back. No one does my fringe in quite the same way that Kirsty does and in fact I send people to her when they ask who cuts my fringe. I feel I've got to know her well over the years, we always have a good natter, and we have loads to talk about plus quite a few friends and people in common. Her new bespoke studio salon at Lighthouse Studios is perfect, right round the corner from me. Nice decor, not over fussy, but classy and functional. Fran x
Great hairdresser, practiced too in art of gentle persuasion to make you go for something that really suits. AND the only hairdresser who has ever presented me with a copy of Intelligent Life to read, thus stimulating my mind too!
After ignoring my hair for longer than I should have, it was such a treat to visit Kirsty Atkinson Hair.
The studio is in such an exciting building and was a welcome break from the more typical high-street salons. The relaxing candles put me at ease right away, while the stylish design of the space confirmed I was somewhere special.
Kirsty gave my hair a total lease of life - she knew what I wanted instantly (including a lovely herbal tea!)
Looking forward to visiting again soon - highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing hair-care experience.
