Lucy Mitchell Lucy qualified in 2009 and has successfully gained experience with musculo-skeletal problems; ski injuries, running, upper and lower limb post operative rehabilitation. She worked very closely with an orthopaedic consultant for the past couple years and has rehabilitated clients on a large repertoire of operations. Lucy is passionate about sports. She now specialises in sport injuries and has worked for various rugby, hockey and netball teams across the UK. Her experience has even enabled her to travel to South Africa and gain pitch side experience. Her enthusiasm and determination to rehabilitate her clients and get her clients back to their sport of choice and educating on injury prevention comes across in a positive way. Lucy has worked at the London marathon for 7 years. This experience has been invaluable and has extended her knowledge in running injuries. She enjoys a hands on approach to therapy, complimented by acupuncture and pilates when appropriate. She also has experience in spinal problems where postural correction is important, adjusting muscle imbalances. Lucy enjoys the variation of elite sports injuries to neck and back pain from a sedentary lifestyle. She is continuously extending her knowledge with courses, she has achieved her acupuncture and pilates qualification. Lucy loves to play tennis, run and ski in her free time and she also loves to travel and has climbed Kilimanjaro with friends.
Martin has worked within the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy since graduating from the Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen, Scotland) in 2010. He has worked predominantly within the national health service and private practices, mainly in south west London and Kent. His main areas of interest are in conditions relating to the neck and back, having gained extensive experience running a spinal clinic within GP practices in Wandsworth dealing with patients with sedentary conditions to overactive lifestyles. Martin also has a passion for sports injuries and working with athletes, particularly relating to the hip and knee though his current part time work with Fulham Football Club. Martin has completed post graduate courses in Osteopathic Techniques, Explain Pain, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, among other hands on therapies. He is interested in the biopsychosocial model and how that impacts on people’s health and day to day life, especially in relation to Persistent Pain conditions. Martin believes a positive, open rapport is essential for patients to achieve their desired goals. Away from work, Martin is passionate about most forms of art and music; and enjoys running, yoga and playing football.
Jacky completed his MSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton in 2019 after obtaining his BSc (Hons) in Applied Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Edinburgh. Following his degree, Jacky began his career at King’s College Hospital Trust in London, where he completed various rotations including Musculoskeletal, neurology, Trauma orthopaedics and respiratory. As a result Jacky is adept in a wide range of post-operative treatments and rehabilitation. He has a good understanding of the musculoskeletal system and human biomechanics, as well as the way the body responds and adapts to exercise and rehabilitation. Aside from working in the NHS, Jacky has a passion for sports injuries and has experience in track and field, and has covered indoor and outdoor junior athletics championships. This involved diagnosing and treating acute injuries using manual therapy, tailored exercise prescription/rehabilitation programmes, and advice. Jacky’s passion is to “re-enable” patients with musculoskeletal disorders, and to provide his patients with the right tools to thrive. He believes that a positive attitude is essential to build a good rapport with patients in order to help patients achieve their personal goals.
Laura is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership to the HCPC (Health and Care Professional Council), CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapist) and ISCP (Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapist). Laura obtained her BSc Physiotherapy degree at the University of Tor Vergata (Italy). She has also completed a two year course in Manual Therapy – Maitland Concept. Laura is also fully trained and certified in Pilates and dry needling. Since qualifying Laura has gained valuable experience working in both Italy and Ireland, primarily in the private sector focusing on musculoskeletal injuries (MSK). Laura’s main areas of interest are in sports and musculoskeletal conditions, having gained extensive experience in these areas during her time working in sports injury clinics. Laura also has a particular passion for neck disorders, knee and hip injuries. Laura prefers a hands on and holistic approach to Physiotherapy, to be able to get patients back into their normal routines and improve their quality of life. Laura is a passionate and driven Physiotherapist with plans to grow and develop in the field of Physiotherapy. She is committed to CPD and evidence based practice, and has completed a number of postgraduate courses. Laura likes to lead an active lifestyle. She enjoys running, cycling, Pilates and kick boxing. Laura also loves to pick up new languages and besides Italian and English – she also speaks fluent Spanish.
Olga Orlova is a Massage therapist with 5 years experience. She started working in 2017 in Greece and then moved to London to work as a massage therapist in 2019. Olga knows the whole body because she also has some pharmacist knowledge as well. Olga has strong empathy towards people, she pays good attention and care to every patient, her treatment is based on each patient needs and requirements. Her value is to live a healthy, long and happy life !
