Unfortunately, the new technicians are less trained. More rushed manicure, cuticles not removed (not express one), creme/ massage not applied. Please please train the new staff. Otherwise, wonderful place.
Used a machine filer a lot to remove the gel varnish, then acetone soak but the bits that couldn’t be scrapped off were filed down with the machine, thinned down my nail. Walked away with thinner and brittle nails. Varnish chipped and ends splitting a week later. Have had people use a machine filer to file down the varnish but after soak they use a hand buff/file to buff away the random bits of gel, this place machines away small bits still on nails so isn’t good for nails.
I go to kensalnails regularly for tegular non shellac manicures and always have a very good experience. Every technician is fast and skilled. Good selection of color and a nice ambience.
