By the time I found Kell Scott, 10 years ago, I had had my fill of 'trying out' local salons and in particular 'special offers'. As I recall, the day I stumbled through their doors, particularly traumatised after a 'deal' which had left me with an un-ironic squint parting and Ealing Comedy brassy highlights, I had had enough. "Help me" I gasped weakly to the sweetly confident young woman eyeing me with compassion. "Please fix it". And fix it she did. In only a matter of hours, during which the soothing ambience and homemade brownies with bottomless lattes lifted my spirits, to the final and indecently pleasant head massage, I was transformed from C List to Red Carpet (my hair that is, not the rest of me.) This experience has never faltered on every other visit and I can only suggest that you go and see for yourself!
Fantastic. I have been searching and searching for a place for years to get a perfect haircut. I have very thick, southeast Asian hair, so it is difficult to find someone that takes the time to understand how my hair sits with a haircut. I also get really annoyed if I am rushed through or when there is poor service. This place = great service, great haircut. I got my hair cut with Vincent, who really took time out to ensure my hair looked perfect. It was lovely. The little details really show that everyone likes their job there and they enjoy giving good service. From the free drinks and snacks to the specialised products for each person used to treat your hair during the shampoo and that he knew that I was going out later in the evening, so he did my hair up in pin curls. Thank you for a lovely experience after an entirely stressful week I had!
I'd been looking for a new hairdresser for ages and found this salon through Twitter of all places.
Had my hair done by Sandra who was lovely and friendly. Great haircut and conditioning treatment. Had been over-using the salt spray and my hair was very dry. The keratin treatment left my hair shiny and soft and feeling like hair again.
Sandra did a great cut and I felt like she actually listened to what I wanted, although I have learned over the years not to be so stubborn and listen to a stylists advice too. They are the experts after all.
The salon is a really friendly place. They have 2 dogs and home-made chocolate brownies. What's not to like? All lovely people.
I was really happy with my haircut. Will be going back soon.
Bartek, my lovely hair dresser, was great as usual. He is such a great guy, great listener and top professional. His colouring skills are fantastic - I looked fabulous.
