Kathleen was really professional and the treatment was excellent. She also gave me good tips how to treat my skin at home. I would definitely recommend her!
Kathleen is lovely and very knowledgeable. Her salon is in her home and very comfortable and relaxing. Kathleen asks about any specific skin problems/ concerns and adapts the treatment accordingly. She advises you on your skincare routine and you end up leaving with better skin and tips for a better skincare routine. I will be back and will recommend her to others as well.
Great massage, very relaxing and had a great nights sleep that evening. Kathleen gave some good advice afterwards. Will be going back again.
Kathleen was spot on. She noted what issues I had, and worked on them in the session. She seemed very knowledgable and advised me on treatment going forward. I hope to go back soon!
As somebody who has found the whole idea of walking into a beauty salon daunting and somewhat intimidating, but wanting to experience life's little luxuries like a pedicure, it's no surprise that I'd put off for so long. I had been looking for something local to myself and Kathleen immediately stuck out with her line of testimonials from both new and existing clients, some who had been seeing her for years. As I am now 25, I figured I should just bite the bullet and I booked a medical pedicure session through Wahanda. There was a slight hiccup with the booking, but Kathleen was so understanding and apologetic, even though it wasn't her fault, but re-arranging a convenient time to see her was very easy. She is just as lovely in real life as she is over the phone, making me feel reassured as an anxious first-timer to this sort of thing. Kathleen is easy to reach by public transport, and is placed in a nice and quiet leafy residential area, so no prospect of a daunting beauty salon here, thankfully! Her treatment room is very clean, quiet and calming, with a homely and soulful feel. If you arrive a little early, Kathleen will ensure you get settled in with a drink whilst you wait, and of course keep you up to date. If this is your first time visiting, you will be asked a few personal questions, but don't worry as this is essential for both you and Kathleen to make sure that you don't have any allergic reactions and to look after you wellbeing, not to mention the fact she feels a great duty of care. After that, you're up on the couch and away. Kathleen was ever so gentle with my feet. She does not judge the state that they are in and she prides herself on doing a good job (and she is a perfectionist!) in making sure that you and your feet go away feeling absolutely fantastic. You shouldn't go away feeling anything less, and Kathleen always invites you to let her know if you are feeling okay, to be vocal if what she is doing doesn't feel right or causes you any discomfort. She takes her time to make sure that you are happy with everything she does, and if you have polish put on, will patiently assist you in trying to get your feet into your flip-flops! (If you new to this like me, sandals with velcro straps that don't go between your big toe and other toes are the most ideal for pedicures with polish, I've discovered!) I have already recommended Kathleen to friends who have been in the same position as me, too intimidated and frightened of the beauty salons on the high street where everybody can see in or can see you. Kathleen's one-to-one selfless attention, friendliness and understanding is second-to-none – I'm scared to go anywhere else now that I have found her and look forward to seeing her again for another pedicure and perhaps even her other treatments in the very near future.
