Tucked away diagonally opposite the Round House and only a few minutes' walk from Chalk Farm is an exceptional stylist: Karen at Karalu. I'm abandoning my overpriced West End salon and coming here in future. Karen is one of those rare artists who listens to you. She 'got' my difficult, fine hair on the first appointment, and the colour was just as I'd wanted.

Great experience. It was busy so I was offered a coffee to wait for my stylist, Sam to become available. Had my hair shampooed and a gentle head massage before discussing my haircut plan with Sam. His comments/confidence assured me of his experience and I was really pleased with the results.

Karen always finds a style and colour to suit me. She is also very welcoming and willing to listen to any changes i might want but I am happy to leave the decisions to Karen as i always really like what she does.
