About

Gus Hadonou is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a decade of experience, bringing a unique blend of Reformer Pilates and Strength & Conditioning principles his physiotherapy practice. Enabling clients to return to high level sporting performance as quickly as possible. Alongside working for Kaizen Physiotherapy & Performance, Gus teaches Reformer Pilates in Richmond and continues to run an NHS clinic in Kingston. As a recent nominee for the Doctify Patient Voice, Gus is more determined to go one step further this year! Gus graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2014, his work across NHS, private and international settings has enabled him to develop a multifaceted philosophy and approach. Alongside a focus on exercise, Gus employs multi-faceted treatment strategies including acupuncture and manual therapy to help reduce pain during the recovery process. He has a passion for further improvement in the health sector, demonstrated by his participation in various clinical trials such as shoulder and knee joint outcomes with physiotherapy vs surgery; and also including AI use in the health care setting. Outside of work, Gus is a keen skier and enjoys (not always) participating in triathlons. He spends the rest of his time bickering with his business partner about the football. Special Interests Rehabbing ski injuries and preventing future ski injuries Reformer Pilates for treating physio conditions (eg. low back pain) Acupuncture for painful conditions that recover slowly (eg. sciatica, tennis elbow)

About

David is a physiotherapist and the founder of Kaizen Physiotherapy & Performance. David graduated from the University of Birmingham with an MSc in Physiotherapy after completing a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Utilising this knowledge he has gone on to treat a wide array of patients and conditions, in elite sport and as a specialist Physiotherapist in the NHS. He has completed postgraduate courses in hands-on therapy and holds qualifications in martial arts coaching and sports massage. David currently works at Chelsea FC as a physiotherapist in the academy. He has previously worked with semi-professional rugby teams and also treated international and Team GB athletes in sports including karate, swimming, fencing & athletics. David’s passion is using movement and exercise to help people be the best version of themselves and achieve their goals, whatever their starting point! Special interests Incorporating injury prevention in training programmes for MMA and football athletes Using Strength and Conditioning principles in physiotherapy rehabilitation Return to sport testing (eg. after ACL reconstruction)
