Quiet and not busy (in a good way). Joanna is the only person who's cut my hair since I moved to the UK and she understands my thick/coarse Asian hair and what I want. Doesn't try to impose methods or styles - a lot of places want to go wild with the layers when they see thick hair - but will give suggestions if I ask for something that isn't going to work.
