I was surprised that no staff were at the desk when I arrived (14:50)
Holly was on her own at that point, and was treating a client. She soon came out and then it was my turn. I was pleased that Holly asked if I had any product on my face, because I had forgotten I applied moisturiser after swimming this morning. Holly wiped my chin area, as it’s important from the burning aspect that no such product should be on the Skin at the time of treatment. Holly also put on my goggles, and adjusted them to fit me - I like that, rather than being handed the goggles to put on myself. I like that Holly used a spatula under my nostrils to stop the cold air blast going up my nose. Cold air is blown onto the area being treated to prevent burning. Occasionally there is the smell of burnt hair, but this is normal. The chin zapping stung a little (as it did last time with a different therapist) and is more uncomfortable than having the upper lip done. This is normal. But the treatment is soon over, and is worth it so as not to develop walrus type whiskers as you get older! You are given aloe Vera gel to apply afterwards, and asked how it feels.... I booked another 4 appointments, as you pay in advance for treatment, so it feels like you’re getting freebies all the time! 😁
Everything was very good. I arrived before time because I was on my way to the airport and the lady sorted an earlier treatment for me. She was very kind. I was really pleased and thankful. The treatment itself was ok.
