I recently visited this salon, and the experience was nothing short of a disaster. I have long, thick, wavy hair that falls just below my waist, and I requested a simple trim of the ends with some added shape. Instead, I received an uneven, drastically shorter haircut that was completely different from what I had asked for.
After noticing how poorly my hair had been cut, I returned back to the salon with a friend who confirmed that the result was outrageous. However, rather than acknowledging her mistake, the owner dismissed my concerns, claiming that the unevenness was due to my hair being wavy and that she couldn’t provide the full service I requested.
In an attempt to make the situation better, she proceeded to cut more of my hair, but the more she tried to fix it, the shorter my hair became. I eventually had to stop her, fearing that I would end up with an even worse outcome. Unfortunately, I left the salon with a haircut that still looked bad but was too afraid to let her cut any more.
This experience was deeply disappointing. As a professional, she should have been upfront about her ability to manage my hair type and explained any potential issues before starting the cut. Her lack of transparency and skill has left me with a haircut that I’m extremely unhappy with.
I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially those with long, thick, or wavy hair. The service was unprofessional, and the outcome was unacceptable.
I had the best eyebrow threading experience at this place. Done by Viral, who gave my brows a really nice shape. The price was also very affordable, 9£. Would definitely go again. And that’s in Maida Vale! I know places that charge 3 times as much and not as as beautiful result.
