Hi- I had an appointment for a blow dry which I thought would be a quick affair but I was in for a treat! Despite lack of sleep, the hairdresser spent a lot of time and with great care, gave me a great curly blow dry. In the spirit of the new year, he ended up with a £5 tip as gratitude! Recommended.

I booked last minute for a 6pm appointment (they close at 7pm) and when I arrived they seemed surprised and almost pretty fed up that I'd come along so late in the day.
I'd say from the dynamic that it was a husband and wife who were behind the desk and their son who cut my hair. He washed my hair immediately without looking at my current hair to see what I wanted and it was dead silent. The parents just sat inches away from me throughout the whole haircut, both scrolling through their phones and occasionally the mum looked up at the back of my hair grumpily. I wasn't welcomed or even given eye contact by the parents sat so near me and they only said something pleasant as I was leaving.
The haircut was good though and the hairdresser took time on curling my hair so I cannot complain about the end product - it was just such a quiet and uncomfortable atmosphere.
