My friend and I went to The Retreat for a full body massage and mini manicure. The two staff members were very welcoming and attentive. Both treatments were excellent especially the massage
which I could feel the benefit of for the next few days.

I enjoyed my visit to this salon just off Oxford Street and found the staff to be friendly and efficient. I was given detailed advice on how to look after my cuticles and the gel manicure was quick and professional. There was also a good range of colors to choose from and my nails looked a lot better when I left the salon. It did seem extremely busy but the staff were friendly. I had a very good shoulder and back massage and would recommend this salon for both treatments - the only reservation being that it was not as calming and relaxing as some salons I have visited due to the staff being rushed but that may have been because it was a Monday and they were catching up and had a lot of clients.

Great facial, included a steam treatment and eye-brow tiday. very relaxing. neck and shoulder massage was a bit firm, but i do feel very tension-free today! Mini-manicure was good, lovely colour, but has chipped quickly. Both therapists very friendly and knowledgable. would recommend this salon.

the facial included a shoulder/upper back massage. it was great! Hannah (the therapist) was extremely gentle and soothing. she asked me about my general skin care and problem areas. she did a great job with my problem areas (nose and chin) and had gentle hands. the massage was amazing - strong but not painful. i will definitely be returning to go regular facials as the (non-Treatwell) price is very affordable and Hannah is so friendly and does a really good job at extraction (exactly what my face needs).
the manicure was basic - quick file and paint. the best part was finding a nails inc neon pink nailpolish that i have fallen in love with.
the only negative is that it is in the basement of a hair place so you can hear people walking upstairs. i booked a morning appointment in the week and will continue doing so to avoid having the noise from above.
overall - an excellent deal for facials with a lovely therapist :)
The venue is in a great location, just off Oxford Street and equally the facilities are clean and inviting. Upon arriving the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I am used to undressing in private though and then the therapist coming in once covered with a towel as opposed to just undressing there and then but I suppose this is just a different way of doing things. Waxing was quick, efficient and very nearly pain-free. The woman doing the waxing completely put me at ease too. I would say that it was perhaps a little too quick as my voucher was for 30 minutes waxing time and there were some hairs left, but my hair tends to be quite coarse and tricky to remove. Overall a good experience though and I'd definitely go back
