I hate writing negative reviews but having not been contacted regarding a resolution, I feel it's only fair to pre warm other people.
I needed a last minute cut so found an offer local to me at this spa, £25 for a wash, cut and finish.
The venue is really a mens's barbers with a woman's studio in the back. The lady who did my hair was very nice and the wash was great but after asking her to cut the bare minimum off the length and add some very long layers, she spent around 5 minutes on the cut which I thought was worrying at the time. She immediately took way too much off the length but I assumed she knew what she was doing. She spent the next 40 minutes curling my hair which didn't look too bad. I left thinking my hair was okay but later that evening when I brushed my hair and the curls fell out, I saw how bad the cut actually was!
I wish I could post you thr pictures I have taken but as commented by my friend, it looks like a 5 year old cut it. Before the cut my hair was thick and very long, now I have two uneven short chunks at the front that go above my shoulders and longer whispy choppy chunks round the back which taper off so the ends are thin and scraggly.
I went to another hairdressers today and they said the cut was so laughable I'd have to have it all cut to the shortest length and atart growing it again to hide the cut.
I can't afford to have another cut so I'm stuck tying my hair back every day.
I've never had a cut like this and I contacted the salon email given on Treatwell the next day asking for a refund but I've not had a reply.
I'm not sure if my hair was cut by a trainee hairdresser but this person should not cut anyone else's hair without proper training.

Not sure I'd go back here. I'd rather spend a bit more for more relaxing surroundings.

Mix up with my appointment and when I arrived early as requested by the salon, I was greeted by the stylist. The stylist explained that there was an issue with my booking as I was able to book a 7pm appointment by mistake that should not have been available as that's when the stylist finishes work for the day. the ladies in the salon were really nice and I really like my hair cut. The reason for the lower rate is due to the owner I could hear him moaning about the fact I booked that time (like I knew) very unprofessional and he was rather loud explaining I should be told to cancel. I doubt I would go back, having a haircut should be nice and relaxing and that wasn't due to the mix up with the appointment and the tone and unprofessional guy in there.
