The salon itself is not very luxurious - very much a barber's with a women's section at the back. But my haircut was excellent. The stylist cut it exactly how I asked, and the blow dry was really good too.
She didnt spend time for eyebrow threading, didnt care the shape of them. She was just doing for doing. I understood you are busy and it makes you tired so you dont want to do your job well. You dont have to accept all customers if you dont have time to satisfy them.
Faiza, the nail technician, was a lovely girl who made me feel comfortable and was nice and friendly. The salon is so-so but I suppose that's why the price is a bit lower than most in London I guess (Out the back of a barber shop with Eminem blaring on the speakers) I didn't mind the experience and would have gone back... however my Shellac manicure lifted and chipped by the very next day! Shellac is meant to last 2 weeks minimum!
I had emailed, text and called the salon but no one has replied. I even sent them photos as proof but to no avail. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SHELLAC! I suspect that she did not paint to the edges which is why it lifted and this was confirmed by the person I went to to fix this.
The nails were for a wedding abroad so I had to pay through the nose to get them redone short notice as well as causing unnecessary stress.
If the salon owner is reading this, please finally reply to my messages and give me my refund!
