Despite looking and feeling like a barbers, and despite the overall mess and uncleanliness, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and my haircut was excellent. I just had a trim and so I felt like I didn’t need to buy an overpriced haircut elsewhere. For £25 the cut was excellent value for money and I would go again.
My first time here things went really smooth and l had a good experience. However on my last appointment my hair was discolored. At my first attempt of pointing it out, l was ignored. So l thought it might be due to my hair being wet still, so l waited until it was blow dried a bit to make sure l wasn't seeing wrong. The second time l pointed it out, the hairdresser first said that l was wrong and that it looks good, following with blaming me for choice of color. I asked for light blonde and my hair had been turned grey in most of my hair. This was however fixed and the color came out great, as did the hair cut. However while my hair was being washed, the lady at one point splashed my face a LOT with the water without offering me a towel. The water got into my eyes and all over my face. He colleague came over to help me with napkins. As l was being finished with blow dry and hair cut, there was a man in the staff talking sh*t about either me or her colleague (l couldn't hear which), calling one of us really horrible names and complaining, in a language l also speak, which he wasn't aware of until the hair dresser told him while l was in the bathroom, as l could hear their conversation. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, rude and uncaring. Her female colleague was very sweet though and did admit that my hair had gone grey, as the hair dresser denied it and said that it was supposed to look that way. All in all, when the color was corrected, it came out amazing, as did the hair cut, all for a great price. They did also accomodate me regardless of me being very late due to traffic. But l doubt l'll be returning after this experience.
