I went in to get my roots bleached. I was offered an opalex treatment for £25 to protect my scalp from the bleach. I never had an issue before so I decided to pass on it. The bleach was burning the entire time but tolerable and it was left in for a while. By the time I had it washed out, and toner was applied, the burn was unbearable! They immediately washed out the toner once I told them and my scalp hurt so bad I had to ask them to run cold water on it. I still ended up with a chemical burn on my scalp which is now scabbing. They told me I should’ve had the opalex treatment because my scalp is sensitive. If they need to charge me an extra £25 to not burn my scalp then its on the hairdresser (whi I think was still in training). Its too bad because she and her coworker were lovely and I got a good haircut from her but after my experience I will not be returning.
