The salon was clean and beautifully decorated in a monochrome style with an Audrey Hepburn motif.
It was easy to find on the busy main road, but this was not audible from the treatment room.
The therapist was neatly dressed and had a professional manner.
There was no receptionist.
The appointments seemed to be booked very close together and there was a short wait before my treatment. After my treatment the therapist was immediately treating someone else. I suspect that the salon does not allow enough "down time" between treatments and does not pay a receptionist, which would help.
The treatment room was not very warm, although an extra towel was provided on request.
The hot stones were an inferior set, being manufactured rather than natural river stones and were smaller and more square. There were not enough of them, so they did not have time to fully heat.
The massage couch was narrow, but fairly comfortable with some signs of wear.
It was better suited to beauty treatments rather than massage therapy.
The room and towels were clean and pleasantly decorated.
The oil used was a basic mineral oil blend which is not best suited for massage therapy.
The massage technique was adequate, but did not leave my muscles feeling relaxed and I was not warm enough to properly relax.
Overall I was disappointed by the hot stone massage and would not have this treatment here again.
