I usually do not like to leave negative reviews... However, I feel like Images Salon needs to re-evaluate its services. I am the type of client that likes to get mani-pedis done very often because it's relaxing and I do not mind paying higher prices for high quality treatments. First, the two positive points are the enthusiasm of the staff and the modern salon itself. My OPI Spa Pedicure did not feel any different from a pedicure that I could get anywhere else for so much less. First, the therapist filed on my nail instead of using the buffer to take off my previous glitter varnish. This consequently left very rough scratches on my nails. Sure, there was the foot scrub and foot mask, but the cuticle work and massage were inadequate. The foot soak is in a simple foot bath, not in a bubbling massage foot bath. Also, the varnish was horrendous! There were gaps on the sides of the nails and it was not at all smooth (even though the lady who did my gel manicure did put oil on my feet and wrapped them in cling film). I also saw leftover scrub and mask under my nails since they were not properly cleaned before application of the varnish. My OPI Gel Manicure was a bit better than the pedicure; however, I had to ask the lady to re-file every single one of my nails because they were all slanted (longer on the right side). Also, since I had the two treatments at the same time (which I did not ask for), I was in a very uncomfortable position. Keep in mind that these are not massage chairs, they are completely upright. The gel color - a few bumps here and there from leftover dust that was not properly brushed/cleaned off. Cuticle work was OK and the massage was short and rushed. Upon payment, I was asked by the manager if I enjoyed my treatment and I hope he understood how I felt when I merely said, "hmm it was OK." I did not feel comfortable making a scene especially since there were other clients nearby and the therapist was standing right next to him. I clearly am not happy with the treatments that I got for £66. I therefore will definitely NOT be coming back even if it is cheaper because the treatment is quite poor. I hope Images Salon will re-evaluate its services for future clients to avoid disappointments like mine.
