My issue isn’t with the haircut. I paid for the haircut in advance on treatwell using Apple Pay. But at the salon I bought some mousse , I was told it was £34 . I paid and then on the bus I checked my notifications and it says £40.08 was taken from my account… I checked my emails and they charged me a tip without asking me , I got charged an additional £5.23 listed as a tip.
No one asked , no one told me.

I had a disappointing experience with Mae, who came across dismissive when I politely asked for more scrubbing during the wash. The interaction escalated and she eventually stepped away from the appointment. Thankfully, another stylist took over. Brock was kind, enthusiastic, and did my hair beautifully! I really appreciate how he turned the experience around and made me feel comfortable again.
