Evelyn’s is gorgeous to look at, but my nails were quite messy and only lasted a few days before they started to chip.

The staff were really friendly and the salon very relaxing and clean, however I didn't like my makeup and really felt it didn't suit me at all. I ended up buying makeup from a local store and toning it down a lot. Although I didn't ask for a particular 'look', I asked for a smokey eye (I looked like beetlejuice) and a nude lip (a dark pink colour was used). Overall it was way too heavy, however the foundation and base offered hardly any coverage on my skin. Less than an hour later and it was coming off - no setting spray or powder was used and the amount of black eyeshadow used transferred above and below my eyes.
