I booked last minute on treatwell, my first time using the app. got the confirmation email and thought I was good to go, I arrived at the salon and was not given a warm reception, the girl looked up at me and did not say hello or invite conversation. I told her I had an appointment and she said who with. I said I couldn't remember the therapists name but it was on the app. She sighed and demanded what app. I got a bit flustered and showed her my booking, she said "She is busy all day and her next appointment isn't due for half an hour, you'll have to come back". I explained that the treatment was already paid for and she said she would have to speak to the therapist. When Marilyn came out she apologised for the mix up and said she could fit me in in half an hour which fortunately suited my plans okay. Then in works a lady named Cindy (who I guess is the owner) and all of a sudden the girls behind reception could not have been nicer, offering tea while I waited and chatting about the weather and calling me "Doll" as if they actually cared. I could not believe the difference in service after being treated so rudely. I had a Swedish massage which was nice, however it would have been better if I had been offered a rolled towel or other support under my knees/ankles to ease the strain on my lumbar region, I know I should have mentioned it, but I had been settled a while before I noticed the discomfort. Overall, not a great experience
Had a brilliant massage etc here. It was truly relaxing and will be back. True value for money and made feel at ease. Thank you Marlyn xx
Amazing treatments, good pressure in the massage helped with my sore back, facial was dead relaxing with calming atmosphere! Thank you x
I have had regular treatments with Marlyn for 1 year now. She is an amazing holistic therapist and I would not go to anyone else. Her hot stones and Swedish massage is excellent and very relaxing. She always puts you at ease and is very professional. I have also had ear candling and facials with her. Again I am very pleased with her as my therapist.
Brilliant. Great value for money. Lovely staff, so friendly. Massages are so relaxing. Facials are great too. I would recommend them to everyone 100%.
