I booked a night spa day for my birthday with my boyfriend and I really enjoyed the spa and the facilities: it was everything clean and nice! The changing room was big and plenty of space but the showers were really really small!
The lunch and breakfast on the day were good and with lots of variety.
I liked less the day of our arrival: the room where we slept was clearly not a double room like all the rest of the guests (I had a look a few while the cleaners were inside the next morning): I think it was everything booked and they had just that room for us, but you do not want anything like that when you pay so much! the bathroom was small and with mould on the ceiling, with a really basic bath.
Luckily we arrived quite late in the hotel because we decided to use the spa just the day after and luckily we did as a part of the spa was closed for a wedding guests, but no one said anything to us, just stick a note on a door.
The dinner that day was nothing special and we had to pay extra £40 for a venison steak that was overcooked: so room and dinner on the first day, absolutely not worth how much we paid!
I rated 4 stars just because of the spa and lunch!
