I booked for facial threading - eyebrows to chin. When I turned up they had no idea what I’d booked but when I told them facial threading they seemed happy enough to help. The lady who did my eyebrows didn’t really seem to know what she was doing, I have a bruise on my eyelid where she caught my skin between the threads. After finishing my eyebrows she started packing away and said I was finished. My eye was feeling swollen and painful so I just left rather than arguing.

Treatwell didn’t actually update the schedule to match the salon’s schedule, but i managed to get in. I booked a hot wax appointment, but the lady first started with warm wax. 5 minutes in, she asked me if i wanted hot wax, to which i said i did and she tried to do it, but she didn’t know how to do it. It was the most painful experience ever. Her colleague came and saved me from the pain. It seemed like the first lady didn’t have the experience necessary to wax. I am still bruised, 3 days after.
