I booked a luxury mani/pedi. I wanted to relax and at the same time treat my tired toes and fingers after working in the garden. The result – very disappointing! The whole procedure takes place in the reception area and so that was a bad start. My chair for the manicure was very uncomfortable and so there was no relaxing then and the choice of colours rather limited and old-fashioned. I would expect a salon that aims to serve professionals to have an array of naturals and neutrals, rather, they concentrated on vibrant and dark colours. Perhaps, I am mistaken in my assessment of what people like but at work place I do not see anyone wear bright nail varnish. Pedicure procedure too was in the reception area – with no privacy. The pedicure itself was terrible – I still have cracked heels after it as the procedure included only light scrub to my heels. Most worryingly sides of my toes nails still had dirt! On a positive side staff were not too chatty which was lovely but knowledgeable if I had a question about the services they provided.
The eyebrow wax was really nice and tidied up my brows perfectly. Although the gel manicure was done professionally, I was disappointed in the colour as it turned out to be very different on the nails from the original colour I chose.
