Helen only touched my hair during the blow dry(which turned into a press). It was clear they hadn’t dealt with 4c hair before so I wouldn’t go if your texture is anywhere in the 4s. I was asked why not go for a texture releases and made to feel my hair was a problem. Also they hardly explained what was happening and put a treatment on that I didn’t book without even telling me what the treatment was. Atmosphere was messy too with whispers between staff.

First time going to Helen's for a haircut. I have curly hair and had not gone to the hairdressers in a hot minute so I was a bit worried.
In the end, I am happy with the result and will definitely go back.

I have been to Helen's multiple times. They always sort my out. This time I went after I had surgery and I explained if they could be a little gentle. My stylist went above and beyond to make sure I want comfortable at every single opportunity as I was still in pain, but needed my hair washed. I'll always be a customer at Helen's!
