Nice venue, very friendly staff. The haircut was spot on as the stylist was taking in account my feedback and the overall treatment is a very good value for money.
Small but friendly salon. The hairdresser took great care over my highlights but I was charged extra for a second colour and the colour has not lasted very well at all less than one month on. The blow dry was excellent.
I had a terrible experience here. I had asked for a simple permanent colour - from very dark brown to brown. I was warned at the outset that the colour may not extend to the ends, but would affect most of the hair. She suggested highlights, but when I asked if I could replace my treatment, she said I would have to book another time. So, we picked a lighter shade and she completed the colour. I was kindly offered tea, which never came. Upon wash, I was horrified to see the top of my head looked like a browning carrot, and the rest of my hair was completely the same. She insisted it was the light, so took me by the window to look at it properly. I had paid about £50 for colour that covered about 2 cm of my hair, and it was the wrong shade. Trying not to get upset, I asked her what I should do, and all she suggested was booking in AGAIN for highlights, at the standard rate, absolutely no regard that I was so visibly unhappy. I was the last customer in the salon, and it seemed like they just wanted me to leave. I was standing there with semi-damp hair, and despite my frustration I wasn't even afforded a simple blow dry so I would look presentable walking down the street. The first thing I did was go to Superdrug down the street and buy a brown, so hopefully I'll have some semblance of normal hair for work tomorrow. Overall, incredibly unimpressed.
