The colour and the cut are great, staff was amazing and the place is really charming but... I had a voucher for colour & cut (£63). After a brief consultation with the hairdresser, I was advised that to reach a desirable effect I need some highlights at the extra charge. FYI I didn’t ask for anything fancy and usually a standard tint and toner is enough but I agreed to half head highlights. I wasn’t advised how much the extra service will cost and, my bad, I didn’t ask. I assumed that as an addition to the actual treatment it shouldn’t break the bank. I was very happy with my whole experience at Hebe until I was presented with the bill: £161. Unfortunately this spoiled the whole thing for me. I felt played by the staff and taken for a fool. I know that I should have probably asked about the extra cost but also the ladies knew that it was my first time in their saloon and I wasn’t familiar with their price list. A common sense would be, when you offer a treatment that you know is going to nearly triple the cost of the service, to advise your clients about the discrepancy in prices which they will face if they agree. If I had known about it, I would have declined the highlights, just stick to my voucher, had been equally happy with the result and left them a 5 star review. Before the finale bill arrived I was certain that I had found my new hairdresser but now I know will not be returning to Hebe just because I feel like I was tricked into taking a much more expensive service which wasn’t really necessary. Shame because it seems to be a nice place.
Second time at Hebe now and I always leave feeling so happy with my hair. Sandra always listens to what I want and always come with good recommendations to suit me and my needs. Super happy, would highly recommend!
I was very disappointing with the service I received from the salon as I had booked online a package of complete colouring and blow drying which was supposed to cost £52. Instead I received only colouring and no blow drying at all.. While I tried to understand why that was, Sandra, the hairdresser, tried to explain that it depended on the time I booked it and what promo was online available at that time (same promo is available all the time), she concluded that I already got a better deal than the normal price by showing me their price table, etc. I was extremely disappointed and quite angry as I was counting on that blow dry being included, it was what made me come to the salon in the 1st place!
