This is the first time in my life I have ever taken issue with the end result of a haircut/colour, I wasn’t 100% happy. I basically had two staff members standing over me in the chair telling me I was wrong and I quote “it’s better than when you came in” & it would cost over £200 to have what you are asking for. I was asking for there not to be a circle of darker hair on the crown of my head and better blending of the new highlights with my old ones,
I was asked to agree & like the back of my head without seeing it and actually had to ask if I can see it first with a mirror.
It takes a lot of courage to say you’re unhappy with a cut or colour I really didn’t expect a ten minute telling off. They did offer to make it right in the end. But idk...I just didn’t feel comfortable then and just wanted to leave.
I was not taking issue with the skills of the hairdresser (who got very defensive ) I just wasn’t happy. We should always leave a hairdresser happy imo.
