Even though I had very good experiences with the salon, this time my experience was terrible. The therapist was visibly stressed due to overbooking which resulted not in simply poor service but one that was a risk to my health. Cuticles on three of my fingers were removed and filed too aggressively - they were actually hurting. A day later they got badly infected. Not only I will never go back to the salon, but I will probably stop with gel manicure all together. This was just crazy.

Visited the salon for a manicure. After my cuticles had been pushed back and treated 2 of my nail beds started bleeding. I was told by the manicurist that it happened because "it was a long time since I had a manicure and that my nails were sensitive". She stopped the bleeding by applying acetone to the nail bed. I have since discovered that bleeding cuticles are not normal and might be an infection risk. I'm disappointed as my nail beds are still blood-stained and slightly tender.
