They dont really have the facilities to do a callus peel, or pedicure for that matter, literally a foot shaped bucket covered in a plastic bag (??) and filled with water, and your sat in the middle of a corridor, feels quite improvised.
I appreciated ths attention of ths therapist, who noticed an area of particularly dry skin on the side of my foot and told me she wouldn't peel nor file the area, which made sense. Also pleased when informed that the peel included a pedicure (no polish). Unfortunately when filing (or cutting, not sure) my pinkie toenail the nail got way too short and the pinkie toe nail bed started bleeding. I am not a pedicure expert, but that is worrisome and definitely shouldn't happen, ever. In hindsight I should have pointed it out and honestly just asked for my money back. -- I did ask for a refund and they denied it, saying that the acid in callus peels is very strong. Hold on, the acid in a callus peel doesn't go anywhere near my nail bed (at least in my case). Also, the bleeding started as soon as she put my foot back in the water. So again, bs.
