I had a deep cleanse facial with Maria, which was overall good, close to what I usually expect from this salon, but she was a bit less thorough with extractions than Anna, with whom I usually had appointments before. I left the salon with some black heads, which I had to extract myself at home. Anyways, the quality of deep cleansing and extractions in Beauty at the Circle is way higher than London average, but I feel like it has deteriorated after the refurbishments...

I was really surprised when I arrived and my masseuse was male. A massage is quite an intimate experience and I would have preferred to know in advance/have a choice around it.
While the service and massage was good, I found the bed extremely uncomfortable which distracted me from relaxing. My face got extremely sore and I ended up asking for a pillow (all they had was a towel). I had a headache for the rest of the day.
I’ve been to The Circle many times for other treatments (not massages) and have always had good experiences, so was quite disappointed this time. I won’t be back for a massage due to the bed.
