I Paid for a wash massage and Blow dry, 1. they were running late due to a sick team member which cant be helped 2. the person who I had booked to blow dry my hair, didn't know how to do anything other than a rough blow dry?? Obviously I can do that my self, I had gone with the intention of a nice big bouncy blow dry, he attempted it and it was awful, he openly said I dont know how to it. Another lady took over and did it, but I felt like a massive inconvenience the whole time. 3. when the lady was done they didn't even show me the back of my hair as they were in such a hurry. 4. when we went to the sink to wash my hair the lady asked if I wanted a head massage, when the thing I had booked was a wash and blow dry with a massage. The massage and the clean of my hair was not good either. It was genuinely one of the worst hairdresser experiences I have had, and will never go back.
I really didn’t want to leave this review on here but can’t find any email to contact and there’s no option to send a private message on Facebook. I have just been for a blow dry and walked out feeling so disappointed. It was so rushed and my hair looks awful, I had to come home and straighten it. My hair is thick and I asked for it to be blow dried into big curls/waves. It was rough dried by 2 people very quickly, they kept burning my head and we’re rushing so much it felt quite stressful, they rough dried it until it was bone dry, Tongs were used to curl it instead of blow drying it, within 5 minutes of leaving the salon it was frizzy and I had to come home and straighten it. It’s not remotely like what I expect from a blow dry. I could see others in the salon asking for what I asked for and getting it done beautifully, so I know this isn’t reflective of this salon.
As somebody who has probably only left about 2 bad reviews in my life this pains me to do this! Arrived at the salon only to find that my booking wasn’t on the system, even though I had a Treatwell email booking confirmation & had already pre-paid via Treatwell. The girl on the front desk told me repeatedly that there was no booking. There was never any apology which made the entire ordeal even more ridiculous. The word sorry would’ve made all the difference in my opinion. Eventually, the girl behind the desk said she would fit me in & do my hair- great. The hair wash was incredibly quick, which isn’t great for my thick hair as it needs a thorough wash. The ‘luxury head massage’ was over in about 30 seconds- please reconsider what you name this as I’m not sure where luxury came into my experience. It just became apparent as she was doing my hair that she wanted to get me out the door ASAP. From someone who regularly gets blowdries, more likely than not I usually receive a really great level of customer service. I was also in & out the door in under 40 minutes. My hair usually takes over an hour to do. It was just one huge rush.Unfortunately, headmasters Chiswick did not deliver on this occasion. The end result of my hair, I would say was okay? But I couldn’t help feeling deflated & that my hair hadn’t been cleaned properly. The experience was pretty shocking. Treatwell/ headmasters. Please do better!
