Need to be honest and say the pedicure wasn’t great. My feet were soaked in a wooden bucket that was lined with 2 blue plastic bags (willing to put that down to covid maybe- but wasn’t an inspiring experience). It was a gel polish service and after the base, colour and top coat were all applied the technician then filed some of the nails- even someone not trained I know that filing shouldn’t be done after the gel is applied as it would file off the capped free edges leading to lifting at the free edge. There was aA woman who had a pedicure before I arrived when it was time for her to leave she took of some flip flop type shoes. Another technician put them together then placed them by the pedicure chair- no cleaning nothing just put out nicely for the next unsuspecting client. I thought that the leg massage part of the pedicure was short so I actually timed it for my left leg. The massage was 53 seconds- that’s to me does not justify a £40 pedicure. Also I booked the same technician for the extensions and pedicure as I think it’s better and more hygienic to have just the one person touching me but that wasn’t the case. I felt that the technician I had wasn’t skilled enough which led to the other lady coming over and doing parts of the service. But highlighting the hygiene issue as I saw her with her previous client. I didn’t see her wash her hands and then she came over and was touching me. Wouldn’t recommend a pedicure here. I’ve been to the salon before for my nails and I’ve had no issues and I love their opening hours but this experience has definitely made me wary.
