The owner is extremely rude and the salon is very cheap and tacky looking. After 5 minutes of me standing by the door waiting the owner finally emerged from the back room only to tell me that I didn’t have an appointment and that I must be at the wrong place without even checking a computer or diary. She told me that her husband had cancelled the Treatwell account but couldn’t give me an answer when I asked how I was able to make the booking which I showed her on my phone. She then said that she would do my nails but only if I cancelled the booking first (even though I’d opted to pay at the salon so it made no difference) but because it was already 10mins into my appointment time there was no option to cancel the booking. The owner said she would call her husband but then proceeded to thread another woman’s eyebrows (who had not booked and had walked in after me) absolutely appalling customer service. I left 5 minutes later after being completely ignored. A complete waste of my time. The venue itself is stuffy, extremely cramped, dirty and a mess. Definitely a place to avoid.

Arrived at Happis, staff seemed nice enough and was offered a drink. At first was reasonably impressed and was seemed to be going well. Next up, my blonde highlights. the owner kept insisting that I go for a more expensive treatment, upping the price every minute, really pressuring you to pay more and more. I felt obviously uncomfortable and had to give a polite 'no'. Then the pressuring stopped and then proceeded to give me the worst highlights I have ever received as she knew wasn't going to get any more money from me. My hair wasn't in tip top condition but the salon has absolutely destroyed it, even though they hardly touched it. The owner then spoke in her own language to the assistant. I'm guessing she told her assistant to give me an absolutely awful blow dry, because there was no brush, no attempt at styling, literally just blowing my hair dry, I'd probably have to pay more for them to use a brush! Really not please by my experience. Not recommended unless you like to be pressured out of money and you fancy having terrible hair.

Not the best gels- cuticles weren’t pushed backed and started cracking after 3 days!
