My first visit for a restyle (with Agne) went well, I was happy with the cut. When I went for a trim, of that same style, Agne was off ill. I went ahead with the person allocated and have had such a bad cut I am wearing a hat to work even five days later. And it's not OK to be wearing a hat to work!
Before tackling my fringe, my hair was washed and blown dry. More or less. The stylist blowed dried a fair bit, then used straighteners, then blow dried a bit more intermittently as bits that weren't dry were discovered (I only have short/mid length hair). It's an irregular method of blow drying and styling at the same time.
Then I closed my eyes for the fringe trim (with the electric trimmer, which is normal for my blunt fringe) and felt bits falling which were longer than I'd hoped for a trim, When I opened my eyes, the fringe was so short that it was above the hairline in places, so the stylist then shaved my hairline. It is as grotesque as it sounds. I look like I did it myself with my eyes closed.
It's hideous and will be annoying to grow out because as the fringe grows, the hairline will stubble visibly, below the fringe. I can't bear to look at it and have reverted to a hat.
Worst haircut I've ever had.
Good quality haircut therefore easy to take care on the morning. Appreciated the efficiency and kindness of the hairdresser. Definitely a good address.
