This was my first visit to the salon and was really pleased with the whole experience. Time was taken to discuss what I wanted and the staff were really friendly. Even giving me a trim on the house! The colour looked great and although the stylist took a little more off the length than agreed it probably needed it and it looked good so I was happy. Would recommend

I already have curly hair but I have to use strong products (Umberto Giannini scrunching jelly) to control it as it's naturally very frizzy. I wanted to see whether permanent waves could remove some of the frizz as I'm going on holiday to a humid country soon. I didn't get the big, gentle waves I wanted but the stylists were very clear that I was a bit of an experiment as they'd never tried permanent waves on curly hair before! The texture of my hair did change. It's less curly now and more wavy and I'm able to style it more easily with just a leave-in cream rather than a thick gel so I got what I wanted! The staff are really nice and all the treatments seem very competitively priced. I could see some people finding the manner of the lead stylist who worked on me abrupt but I thought she was really clear, explained the options to me and showed she genuinely cares about the outcome. You don't really know what a perm will look like for 48 hours so she told me to call her after it had "dropped" to let her know how it went/if I want happy. I knew it would be a bit of an experiment and I'm really happy with the care I received from the stylists and the outcome. I'm really looking forward to my holiday without having to constantly worry about my hair frizzing up!
