The person doing the treatment was very nice and kind and was doing her best to make sure I am comfortable and well taken care of. The foot massage was nice.
However, the overall level of the service in terms of cleanliness,end result and value for money was not good.
I was expecting a comfy professional pedicure seat. The venue has an improvised area which:
a) is very uncomfortable ( for the person getting treatment and it would seem for the person doing the pedicure as well)
b) there is a regular rounded sink mounted near the floor to have your feet washed. The sink is not mounted properly or firmly, so it moves around and the plug leaks water, so the sink had to be refiled every 5 minutes. My feet never had a chance to stay in the warm soapy water to get soft. It certainly affected the end result
c) the place where the pedicure is done is dark and gloomy in the basement, ambience suitable for a romantic date, not for making sure the nail varnish is applied perfectly ( which it wasn't)
d) there wasn't even a proper space to rest my feet outside the sink after the manicure was done
I could get a better service for 20GBP, instead of the over 40 I have paid.

Great mani as always! There was an issue with the gel polish and three of my nails were not perfect, so the team at Guys and Dolls were awesome and saw me again very quickly to fix those nails for free! Love this place!
