I have been going to this salon for my gel manicure for almost 4 years and I love this place. Unfortunately this time the experience has not been as good as it normally is (I always award them 5 stars).
This time a new manicurist, listed as “K” on treatwell, attended me and there were several things I did not like:
1) the cleaning of my cuticles was painful (normally uneventful, even relaxing)
2) she made me bleed on one finger and dismissed it saying the reason I bled is that my cuticles were dry (I have manicures every 2wks and I never bleed)
3) she tried really hard to make conversation to a point she was not even making sense as she was not really listening to me and it was awkward. Silence would have been better.
4) she had a hard time applying my nail polish and had to redo several of my nails.
I give this appointment 3 stars because I love the place and the rest of the staff, the price is good and the experience is normally fantastic but I am not going to book again with “K”.
