Unfortunately during the manicure one of my fingers was cut quite badly when having my cuticles trimmed so was bleeding quite a lot. Rather than saying ‘I don’t know what happened there’ it would have been much better for the therapist to apologise. I was left feeling very awkward with a sore and cut finger. I know that mistakes happen sometimes, but it’s how they’re dealt with that’s important. Soaking or softening cuticles before trimming tends to be standard practice but didn’t happen here which I think contributed to it being an uncomfortable and painful experience. The other therapist working there seemed to be taking a much more careful approach to her customer so maybe I was just unlucky, but nonetheless I won’t be going back.
