Really exceptional stuff by the guys at Gusto, came in with a big ask (a full blown correction from a questionable colour at a different salon) and they were very accommodating and gave sound advice. In the end the colour came out beautifully and precisely what I envisioned. A true 10/10 salon
My hair is awful. Wonky lengths, fringe is uneven. Hair has chunks missing and just awful awful work. Fuming. Picked here because of the reviews and awards and have never had a worse haircut. If you’re not comfortable doing a haircut with layers just say so rather than ruining someone’s hair
From beginning to end, my experience at Gusto Oxford Street was very terrible. My hairdresser was nice enough, but seemed to resent having to cut my hair. The use of gloves to wash my hair, as if I'm dirty, was painful. The sink was utterly uncomfortable, the hairdresser kept nipping off to act as receptionist, no product was used in my hair for heat treatment and the haircut itself is AWFUL. I'm actually shocked. It looks as if it's been hacked at with sheers. The salon was filthy to boot.
After reading positive online reviews I chose to book a haircut with Joseph. When I arrived at the salon I was told by Joseph, who seemed bit annoyed, that he wanted wanted to have lunch (bare in mind this is 4pm). He told me Serena was to cut my hair. Serena seemed nice but uninterested. Even at the end of the haircut whilst showing me the back of my hair, did she abruptly stop to do something else by the desk. The overall experience was unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I would not go back.
Great to have a hairdresser actually listen and do a proper blow dry.
