Overall, I would not go back to this salon. I saw negative reviews on other sites about this place, but the more recent reviews on Treatwell seemed positive.
I got blonde highlights. I asked for them to be natural looking, and they followed that pretty exactly. I am pretty content with the colour.
However, the hair cut was really disappointing. I have very long hair (I paid extra in advance for this), and I had a lot of dead ends that I knew needed to come off. I asked for my hair to be cut with an angle (shorter in the front) and with lots of layers. This is basically how my hair had been, but the split and dead ends obviously meant a bit of length would need to come off for it to look healthy.
They were really sloppy in getting the angle symmetrical. More and more had to come off to fix the symmetry. There are also almost no layers at all in the back. It looks incredibly blunt. The angle in the front really abruptly stops. I would've asked for it to be fixed, but I was concerned that it would end up worse after watching the front being cut.
I felt the service overall was pretty lacking too. After doing the color and washing my hair out, I had to wait 30 minutes while they, without warning, did another customer's hair entirely. They were also really pushy in encouraging me to purchase other services. I felt like I was forgotten about and generally felt like my requests about my hair were ignored. This is the first time I have really been unhappy with a service I found on Treatwell.
