My hair is now completely ruined. Was not asked what kind of highlights I wanted, I was just rushed into the chair and before I knew it the foils were on my head. I repeatedly asked for them to be subtle but instead ended up with stripes of white through my brown hair (probably exacerbated by the fact that my hairdresser actually left me to cut someone else’s hair halfway through and probably left them on for much too long).
I was then told I needed toner (they didn’t mention I had to pay even more for this until I was at the till at the end) - the toner just lightened all the rest of my hair even more, ruining what was left of my natural colour. We then did a second toner to darken it more as I was unhappy. This was ok-ish at first, but quickly faded.
I left the salon with my face neck and ears stained with toner. I also didn’t get the conditioning mask or blow dry that I paid for. Just a rough dry and a dirty look.
Not worth it at all, you’ll just be rushed in and rushed out with no consideration for what you want or what it looks like in the end.
