They are covid-aware, kept an empty seat between clients which was nice. Had proper glass panels to separate each booth.
However the actual haircut was abysmal. Asked to highlight the top of my head to match the existing full dyed hair that’s grown out so I can slowly grow out and fade back to my natural colour. Instead the hairdresser bleached my highlights and then did a full colour wash on top so I’m now stuck with facing the same issue when my hair grows out with that horrible straight line between natural and coloured. Didn’t listen to me, and said this is how to achieve what I asked for, not to mention after the first dye my hair came out red.. I was asking fo chocolate brown. Also not to mention that he cut my bangs way too short, thick and uneven, though I told him that my hair puffs up when it’s dried so cut less please I want thin natural looking bangs. I walked out looking like Willy wonka, felt embarrassed walking home with such horrible hair and don’t even know what to do to fix these bangs now.
I used to go to the other one in soho regularly but it was all booked, probs better off waiting and going back there next time.

Had a great cut at Gusto! Mario was really attentive and gave me some great ideas for how to manage my new style. The team were lovely even though I was late to the appointment (I blame a very cautious bus driver and a slightly difficult to find salon with all the outdoor seating/umbrellas blocking the windows to the salon).
