I really liked my haircut and my highlight which was done relatively quickly. I was offered water and tea and magazines. However when I was discussing the highlights, the hairdresser talked about putting a toner on which she said she would always recommend to make the highlights more natural. Then she said it was an extra £50! This seemed very expensive and I said I'd think about it. The hairdresser later asked me when my hair was wet what I thought of the colour which I couldn't really tell when wet. She again recommended I have the toner as she thought the highlights were too bright but I declined as I wasn't expecting to pay an extra on the day. The highlights turned out fine and afterwards the hairdresser said that I didn't need the toner afterall so it's a good job I didn't waste £50.
