Busy, but friendly staff, my hairdresser was lovely, listened and did a fab job.
The most important thing is that the stylist understands what you want. Well this was a failure, from the beginning she just wanted to get it done and be gone. She pulled my hair a lot and I didn’t even complained. I explained three times what i wanted and still she just ignored my request. Even the length of the cut. It doesn’t look bad but this is not what I wanted... and I even paid the difference cause the treatment was different!
Really nice shampoo service and haircut.
Great blow dry, lovely salon :)
Was told on arrival that they were running late due to being a stylist down - that is understandable but I had booked my appointment only a few hours before so presumably they knew they were a person short at that point. The manager also continued to accept walk-ins from the street whilst at the same time calling up customers to tell them their appointment was being delayed so to come later. I was offered a cup of tea from the lovely receptionist but she was clearly stressed out and busy so it never arrived. I was taken to get my hair washed (chairs too high for the sink and no offer of readjustment), hair wash was pretty rough and wasn’t asked if water temperature was OK (it was pretty chilly). Was then told my conditioning treatment was being applied and would be left on for 10 mins. 25 mins later I was still sat at the sink while my stylist was cutting someone else’s hair at which point a different stylist came and washed off my treatment as she had seen me looking uncomfortable (this hair wash was much nicer and with good temperature which I was asked about). My haircut itself was OK, if a little rushed. I asked for it to be cut so it could be worn with either side parting or centre parting which wasn’t really followed as is was not even on both sides. She was nice though and good at asking if I was happy with it though and making any adjustments. Overall, I wouldn’t return. Even with taking advantage of a special offer I don’t think this amount to good value for money (that may be due to being short staffed but I don’t think that was dealt with well).
